Total Annihilation Challenge

I’m going to tackle Japanese AND Mandarin Chinese! Whilst my Chinese studies have been underway since November of last year, January 2010 is the official start of my Japanese language journey. This is my total annihilation challenge (TAC) for the year.

My Challenge to Learn Japanese and Chinese

’m doing an experiment where I’m learning Chinese and Japanese using two different methods. The principal of simulated language immersion is common to both. However, I’m going to see how far I can get with Japanese by only playing Japanese video games.

The Chinese Diaries

Anyway, as part of my simulated Chinese immersion which has included watching movies in Mandarin Chinese, listening to Chinese pop, and reading short stories. I have started a Chinese journal. My entries are about 4 sentences now, but I will increase a sentence per day.

Welcome to the 90 Day Chinese Challenge!

For the next 90 days, I’m challenging myself and anyone else who is willing to immerse themselves in learning Chinese like never before! I challenge myself and other people to spend at least 10 hours listening to anything in Chinese.
