I was thinking about going through the book Remembering the Hanzi by Heisig. I see glowing recommendations for learning kanji, but I see reviews for the hanzi book are pretty much straight down the middle. I want to check the book out for myself.
I’ve seen other people make goals of learning 200 to 500 characters a week or something along those lines. That’s something between 28 and 78 characters per day. That’s definitely a measurable goal because you either learned those characters or you didn’t.
For the next 90 days, I’m challenging myself and anyone else who is willing to immerse themselves in learning Chinese like never before! I challenge myself and other people to spend at least 10 hours listening to anything in Chinese.
